Gary Cagle

Gary Wayne Cagle, 76 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at home in Concord.

Gary was born June 16, 1941  to the late William Howard Cagle, Sr., the late Molly Adele Cagle.  He was also preceded in death by brother, Larry.

Gary worked 36 years as a Dept Manager for Social Security Administration in Baltimore.  He had a passion for music and loved making CDs.  He also enjoyed baking desserts for others.  He was a movie buff and Jeopardy genius, and also an avid UNC Chapel Hill Fan.  He attained higher education accomplishments from three separate universities including a BA in English from Pfeiffer College; a CPA masters from Notre Dame in Baltimore; and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Baltimore.  He also graduated with awards in the National Honor Society in Psychology, and The John D. Pollard Prize in management excellence.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at First Baptist Church on Branchview Dr., NE in Concord. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 2:30 pm at First Baptist  officiated by Dr. Jim Collier. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Kannapolis.

Survivors include brothers Michael, Bill, Greg, and Danny; sisters Carolyn, Diane, and Maria.
