Francis Joseph Reichert

April 7, 1936 — December 20, 2025

Harrisburg

My father lived a life he was proud of. He provided for his family and always there when someone needed him. He made people laugh with his funny lines; however, had a very serious side when it came to saving lives in New York as a Firefighter. To get relief from a highly stressful job he umpired for College Baseball. The only thing he loved more than golf, Cadillac’s and the Yankees was to be around family.

My dad lived a life where he was the man of the house and showed us this as a family everyday. As he got older, I saw another side of my father that he kept hidden throughout my childhood. This side showed a compassionate man and would do anything for us as his children. He would always ask me if I had enough money or needed any anything. My parents were always there for me and as an adult went to them for anything and everything. I will miss having these talks as they were my rock.

My father can now be in heaven with my Mom which he missed everyday. He will be very happy to see his brothers, sisters, mother, father, cousins, uncles, aunts and in-laws which he missed dearly and he is able to make his rabbit for all God’s children in heaven. Even close to the end of his life he kept naming all his brothers and sisters worried he would forget their names.

My father precedes his brother Jack, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his son Francis and daughter in-law Jill, daughter Anna Marie and daughter in-law Charlene.

We will miss you dearly and very proud you were a part of our lives.
