Frances Gibson

Frances Motley Gibson, 74 years of age, of China Grove, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

Frances was born August 22, 1940 to the late Joseph and Gena Motley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Gibson and her brother Joe Motley.

Those left to cherish her are her brother, Harry Motley and wife, Marty of Concord; four daughters, Ann Arnette of Kannapolis, Carla Phifer and husband, Max of China Grove, Alice Arnette and husband, Russell of China Grove, Bobbie Furr and husband, David of China Grove. She had nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four nieces and a life time friend Betty Baker of Concord.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, Saturday December 20, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm in Hartsell Funeral Home chapel, officiated by Rev. Buck Canup.
