Floyd Culp

Floyd Philip "Chip" Culp, 77, of Gold Hill, NC, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Culp was born April 27, 1935 in Rowan County to the late Claude Roosevelt Culp and Letha Canupp Culp. He was also preceded in death by wife, Carolyn Jeanette Lowder Culp in April 2012. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am Monday, April 8, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Monday, April 8, 2013, following visitation, in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt . Entombment will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory, at 2001 East Main St, Albemarle, in the Veterans Mausoleum. Survivors include nephews, in laws, and numerous special friends. He retired from American Circuit Breaker after 30 years and was a veteran of the US Army. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC .
