Faye Rose Rivera

Faye Rose Rivera, 83, of Concord, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Faye was born August 18, 1942 in North Carolina to the late Alonzo Allen and Vashti Baker Allen.

She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Christian Eric Rivera and great-granddaughter, Michelle Brenda Rose Mahaffey.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45pm, Friday, May 22, 2026 at Broadus Church located at 59 Green St. SW, Concord, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry.

Survivors include husband, Marcelino Rosas Rivera of Concord, NC; daughters, Jacqueline Rivera of Concord, NC and Valencia (Michael) Rivera-Graue of Mc Grady, NC; sons, Lennie Bryan (Melissa) Rivera of Concord, NC and Richard Eric Rivera of China Grove, NC.

Faithful follower of Jesus Christ, wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and cherished friend to many. She ministered through her music. Her music reached many far and wide in several communities throughout the world. Our mother has been the rock of our family. She will be truly missed by all the lives she touched.
