Everette Lambert

Everette Ray Lambert, 81 years of age, of Locust, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home.

Ray was born July 19, 1934 in Stanly County to the late Carl C. Lambert and the late Mary Elizabeth Efird. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Kay Yow in 2011.

The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the Mission Baptist Church fellowship hall. The graveside service will follow at 11am in the church cemetery,officiated by Rev. Garry Baker. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home of his daughter, Kathy Taylor.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Taylor and husband David of Locust; and sister, Layne Price and husband Bobby of Locust.

Ray was a proud founder of the Ridgecrest Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Mission Baptist Church.
