Evelyn Virginia Query, 89 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord.
Evelyn was born December 30, 1924 in Cabarrus County to the late Charles and Lillie Henry. She was also preceded in death by two sons Victor Laird Query Jr. and Bobby Wayne Query.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel and officiated by Rev. Eleanor Norman. Burial will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include husband of 73 years, Victor Laird Query, Sr.; son, Larry (Lynn) Query of Concord; daughter in law, Sue Query of Kannapolis. Seven grandchildren, Jordan Mikena, Tanda Culleton, Rex Query, Terra Dobbs, Ricky Query, Bobby Query Jr. and Tony Query. Nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Evelyn was a member of Rocky River Presbyterian Church. She worked at Query's Machine Company for a number of years and was a homemaker.
