Ermilienne Jacquet

Ermilienne Jacquet, 72, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at her daughter's home. 

Ermilienne was born March 10, 1951, in Aquin, Haiti, to the late Joassaint Lapomarede and the late Julie Lapomarede. She was known as “Yolande” or “Emily.” 

She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwige Jacquet; and siblings, Oline Fabre and Johnny Lapomarede. 

Mrs. Jacquet was a seamstress, housekeeper, clothing store owner, real estate entrepreneur, and certified nurse assistant. She enjoyed fashion design, making her own clothing, and traveling on cruise ships with family and friends. She was known as a mother and helper to many.

Survivors include daughters Shirley Jacquet; Suzy Campbell; grandchildren Cheyenne L. Blankinship, Zavier A. Farlow, and Journie Jacquet Riley; siblings Thonine Fleurantin, Elcie Francois, Hermite Noel, Fritho Lapomarede and Paulette Salisbury.
