Eric Helmut Friedmann

  Eric Helmut Friedmann, 51, of Harrisburg, NC passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

  Eric was born February 1, 1974 in Rochester, Michigan to the late Herbert Eugen Friedmann and Lisel Else Friedmann.

  Survivors include his mother Lisel Friedmann; sister, Daniela Beauvais and husband Richard; brother, Andre Friedmann and wife Jennifer; niece, Gabrielle Moore and husband John, and their children Aubrey and Wyatt; nephew, Cameron Beauvais and wife Sarah, and their children, Reese and Jesse; nieces, Elise Friedmann and Olivia Friedmann; and nephew, Nathan Friedmann; as well as special cousin, Petra Campbell and husband Joe. The family extends a special thank you to his caretakers, Steven, Jessica and Eugene; and all the nurses that helped him on his journey the past few years.

  Eric was full of life and fun-loving. He could be a bit mischievous from time to time. Eric gave the best hugs and he loved unconditionally. He was an avid swimmer and loved dancing. Eric truly enjoyed life and loved his family deeply. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him and loved him.

  A celebration of Eric's life will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg, officiated by Pastor Joe Campbell. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg at 12015 University City Blvd., Charlotte.
