Eric Edward Flynn

Eric Edward Flynn, 24, of Kannapolis, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024.

Eric was born April 19, 1999, in Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Fry; grandmother, Maryann Black; grandfather, Edward Flynn; aunt, Jamie Flynn; and cousins, Robert Flynn and Kolson Confer.  

Survivors include his mother, Melissa Yourchisin and husband Joseph Yourchisin of Concord, NC; children, Kolin Flynn, Leilani Flynn, and Eliana Flynn; siblings, Darian DePreta, ShaiLynn Flynn, Dylan Yourchisin, Krissandra Fry, Kameron Fry, Emiley Pietrantonio; aunts, Cynthia Smith and husband, Glenn, April Guy and fiance, David; and uncles, Shawn Flynn and wife, Carrie, and James Flynn; nieces and nephews, Alexander, Isabella, Ryder, and Makenna; and great-grandma, Jo Yourchisin. Eric is also survived by many loving cousins.

Eric was many things to many people in this life, and he will be remembered by those lucky enough to have known the boundless love his heart was capable of. He had such a contagious laugh and infectious smile that after witnessing its impact, one can't help but to feel the world may be bleaker without it. Eric's proud accomplishment was becoming a father to three beautiful children who were undoubtedly his life, and to watch Eric's commitment and loyalty to his family was an inspiration and honor. Next to being a dedicated father, Eric was a devoted and well-rounded football fan who enjoyed to watch his Los Angeles Chargers. He loved to joke and enjoy the humor in life. Eric's genuine nature will be missed forever.
