Erastus Hagwood

Erastus Calvin Hagwood, 85, of Concord passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at Tucker Hospice in Kannapolis. Mr. Hagwood was born December 19, 1927 in Franklin County to the late Oscar Hagwood and Kate Clifton Hagwood. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Mike Hagwood. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Pitts Baptist Church 140 Pitts School Road Concord on Saturday, May 4th at 11 am, officiated by Rev. Scott Davis . He is survived by his wife, Nell Hagwood of the home; son, Lee Hagwood (Dawn); daughter, Joyce LaNell Poole (Larry); grandson, Michael Hagwood; granddaughter, Savannah Hagwood; brother, Charles Hagwood.
