Emma Huneycutt

Emma Lucille Huneycutt, 93 years of age, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant House Assisted Living.
Emma was born December 9, 1921 in Stanly County to the late Isaac Hatley and the late Malindy Hatley. She was also preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Raymond Huneycutt; and grandson, Jeffrey Huneycutt.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Monday, November 2, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, and will be officiated by Rev. Jessie Watkins. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth (Faye) Huneycutt of Albemarle, Tom (Carolyn) Huneycutt of Youngsville, NC, and Don (Gail) Huneycutt of Harrisburg; a sister, Hilda Crayton of Locust; five grandchildren, Sherry Huneycutt, Michael (Teresa) Huneycutt, Donna (Ronnie) Harris, Tammy (Bryant) Redmond, and Bryan (Hanna) Huneycutt; 12 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
