Elva Hess

Elva Courtney Hess, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hess was born December 28, 1925 to the late Fred and Cora Henitz. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by husband, George Thomas Hess. Courtney was a homemaker and a life time member of Cold Springs Church. She was survived by two sons, Thomas Vincent Hess and Neal Hess both of Concord, NC A memorial service will be held in her memory on January 4, 2014 at 1:00pm at Cold Springs Church in Concord. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Hess family.
