Edward Eugene Taylor Jr.

Edward (Eddie) Eugene Taylor Jr., age 68, of Harrisburg, passed away at his home on September 24, 2025. Born on August 14, 1957, in Waxhaw, NC, he was the son of John Arthur Taylor and Hilda Lee Taylor. Eddie was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Hilda, father, John, and step-child, D. Keith Todd.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Sharon Taylor, and her children, Stuart Todd and Sharica Todd. He leaves behind his brother, Elliot (Mary) Taylor, and sister, Martha Ferrell, along with two aunts, an uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.

For those wishing to pay their respects, family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home, located at 12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, NC 28075.

Eddie dedicated many years to the construction equipment rental industry and took great pride in his work. Outside of his professional life, he found joy in shooting pool and playing golf.
