Edward Green Furr

Edward Green Furr, 70, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at his home.

Edward was born October 24, 1952, in North Carolina to the late Edward Pete Furr and the late Lucille Green Furr. He was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Green.

The graveside service will be on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery at 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury.

Survivors include daughter, Celeste Camille Furr; son, Leonard Edward Furr; the children’s mother, Brenda Furr, all of Birmingham, AL.

Edward loved nice cars, hunting, fishing, car shows, traveling, working out, riding bicycles, camping, beach music, and dancing. Dad had a good heart and liked to help people. He never met a stranger and everyone was his friend.
