Edna Booth

Edna Lee Lowder Booth, 90 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.

Edna was born October 31, 1924 in Palmer, VA to the late Martin Cline Lowder and the late Josephine Emma Hinson Lowder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Booth; son, Robert Loyd Booth; and brother, Burley Lowder.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. The burial will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main Street in Albemarle.

She is survived her granddaughters, Michelle Jeffery and husband Lee of Albemarle, and Lisa Booth of Badin; grandson, Bryan Booth and wife Emily of New London;10 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.
