Douglas Tanner, Sr

Douglas Edward “Eddie” Tanner, Sr., 48 years of age and formerly of White Sulphur Spring, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Monroe. Mr. Tanner was born July 18, 1964 in Florida to Delores Dillon Lyden of Ohio and the late Dennis Lee Tanner, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don Lee Tanner and Dorothy Moter Tanner. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Survivors include his stepmother who raised him, Betty Fogus Bennet of Frankford, W. V.; his mother, Skeeter Lyden of Ohio; his brother, Dennis Lee Tanner, Jr. of Ohio; his sisters, Dreama Lemasters and her husband Mike of Ohio and Becky Honaker and her husband Greg of White Sulphur Springs; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Tanner family.
