Dorothy Lee Barringer

Dorothy Lee Barringer, 83, of Gold Hill, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at Autumn Care - Salisbury.

Dot was born July 29, 1942, in North Carolina to the late Oscar Hardy Page and the late Emma Lee Page.

She was also preceded in death by husband, William Allen Barringer, daughter, Kirksey Taylor, three grandchildren Richie, Kenneth and Tequila, great-great grandchild Noah; brothers, James Hardy Page, Wayne Page .

Dot was a seamstress for many years retiring from Rockwell Casket Company. She enjoyed serving in the church bus ministry, at Memorial Independent Baptist in Landis as well as West Park Baptist Church. Family came first to Dot she loved them and enjoyed spending time with them. She leaves behind a large testimony.

The family will receive friends from 11am -12pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at West Park Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on June 27, 2026, at 12pm, officiated by Pastor Billy Sechrist. Burial will follow at the West Park Baptist Church Cemetery at 715 W. Park Drive, Rockwell.

Survivors include daughters, Patsy (Jack) King and Wanda Godfrey; grandchildren, Tim (Melissa) Taylor, Angela (Jay) Leonard, Ashley (Christorpher) Naylor, Tj (Bethany) Hummel, Jack (Heather) Godfrey, Justin Godfrey, Talisha (Justin) Misenheimer, and Tayzha Godfrey, great grandchildren; Lily Taylor, Olivia Farmer, Kaitlyne Leonard, Breanna (Caleb) Hughes, Mason (Haille) Leonard, Cayleigh Naylor, Hayden Hummel, Greyson Hummel, Stella Steger, Alyssa Godfrey, Maddisyn Godfrey, Jymma Godfrey, Hudson Godfrey, Jacob Godfrey, Autumn Misenheimer, Rileigh Hunter, Braxton Hunter, Corbin Hunter; great-great grandchildren Willow Hughes, Wallen Hughes.
