Doris Jean McManus Bostian Talbert

Doris Jean McManus Bostian Talbert, 90, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Autumn Care of Salisbury.

Doris was born April 15, 1936 in Concord North Carolina to the late Robert Seth McManus and Elsie Geneva McManus.

She was also preceded in death by her loving husband ,Council William Bostian as well as her devoted husband, Bill Talbert; son, Terry Wayne Bostian; sisters, Emily Geneva Drye and Peggy M. Adams; brother, Jerry Seth McManus; granddaughter, Gina Dawn Rogers.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 1, 2026, from 11am -12:45pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Drive NE, Concord, NC 28025. Service will follow in the Miller J. Hartsell Memorial Chapel; officiated by Pastor Dale Collingwood. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, 471 Church Street, Concord, NC 28025.

Survivors include: Daughter, Pearline Rogers(Mike) of Salisbury NC ; sisters, Hilda Utley of Myrtle Beach, SC and Elaine M Simpson(Barry) of Concord, NC; brothers, Donald R McManus, Sr.(Gail) of Concord, NC and Robert McManus(Jolly) of Concord, NC; grandkids, Michael Rogers(Amy) of Gold Hill NC, Keely Rogers Sadler(Michael) of Gold Hill NC. She also had four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Doris Talbert enjoyed being around family and friends, she loved spending time at the beach with her siblings.
