Doris Mason Linker

Doris Mason Linker, 83, of Midland, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Trinity Place in Albemarle, NC surrounded by her family.

Doris was born December 11, 1941 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late James Wilson Mason and the late Ella Cauble Mason.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Edward "Buck Linker. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Mason, Bill Mason, Vance Mason and sister, Betty Jean Snider.

Survivors include sons, Edward Jacob Linker, Jr. (Cindy), Jimmy Linker (Lori), and Douglas "Butch" Linker (Dean) ; grandchildren, Miranda Moore (Hobie), Kelsey Brooks (Michael), and Jamie York (Austin) and one great grandson. She also is survived by Special Nephews, Steve "Skip" Causby and Donald Junker and Special Family / Friends, Donna Junker and Jewel Fargis.

Doris retired from working many years in the banking industry. Doris enjoyed working in the yard, garden, and just being outside. She also enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles. Doris loved her cat Rascal, and her Granddogs Misty, Heidi, and Ivy Grace.

The Family would like to extend a huge appreciation to Trinity Place Skilled Nursing and their amazing staff that cared for her around the clock as her health declined. They would also like to thank Tillery Compassionate Care for stepping in and providing hospice care when the time came.

Services will be private.
