Donna Kay Caudle

Donna Kay Strickland Caudle, 65, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 29, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.

Donna was born October 16, 1958, in North Carolina to the late Ed Strickland and Peggy Sue Strickland. 

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Donna was a Christian woman who loved the Lord. She always talked of the glorious day it would be when she got to meet her Lord and Savior. She loved everyone and always made sure tell them about Jesus and his love for them. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Faith Free Will Baptist Cemetery in New London officiated by Rev. Thomas Andrufski. Burial will follow at the Faith Free Will Baptist Cemetery at, New London.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years Darrell Caudle; her children Gabby (Tim) Vanhoy and Daniel (Savanna) Caudle; grandchildren TJ, Brettleigh, Skyla Vanhoy, and McKayla Carpenter. Along with her siblings and numerous other family and friends she loved dearly.
