Diane Haire

Diane Vanhoy Haire, 72 years of age, of Statesville, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, in New London.

Mrs. Haire was born December 4, 1942 in Rowan County, North Carolina to the late Herman Vanhoy and the late Ethel Treese. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Haire, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Tim Newton. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville on Saturday, April 25, at 2:00 pm.

Survivors include daughter, Donna Haire Garmon and fiancee Randall Strother of Statesville; sisters, Peggy Lowder of New London, Janice McKeithan of Albemarle and Mary Frances Blalock of Albemarle; brothers, Harold Vanhoy of Albemarle, John Vanhoy of New London, Clinton Vanhoy of New London and Gene Vanhoy of Albemarle; and grandson, Timothy Montgomery of Statesville.
