Dewell Eudy

Dewell Clay Eudy, 79 years of age, of Norwood, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at his home. Mr. Eudy was born April 26, 1934, in Montgomery County, NC, to the late Grover Cleveland Eudy and the late Alice Rosanna Burris Eudy. A celebration of his life will be held, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Rosebriar Restaurant, 528 Wiscassett Street, Albemarle, NC 28001, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Lucy Morton Eudy of Norwood; daughters, Gail Eudy Burris and Sharon Eudy Surratt; stepson, Bobby Gardner; brothers, Ralph Eudy and Claude Eudy; sisters, Ruth Smith, Mildred McRae, and Nellie Hearne; grandchildren, Kimberly Caudle, Meredith Burris, Brooke Surratt Jones, Blake Surratt, Zackery Gardner, Tamara Haigler, and Alisha Gardner; great granddaughters, Kalyn Caudle, Mary Grace Caudle, and Lauren Caudle Caviness. Mr. Eudy was an avid gardener and loved to fish and hunt. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
