Deborah Benton-Ferguson

Deborah Smith Benton-Ferguson, age 42, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at CMC Northeast. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 pm Thursday, October 8, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. A memorial service will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 7:30 pm. She was born December 7, 1966 to Jimmy Lee Smith and Lynda Deese Smith. She attended Northwest High School, and was employed at Five Oaks Manor as the Activity Director. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Brandon Lee Benton and friend Lorie Walker, and Bradley Johnson Benton and wife Leslie Hayes Benton; sister Teresa Smith Dakins; brother in law Mike Dakins; and neice Meghan Leigh Dakins. Memorials may be made to the Residence Fund at Five Oaks Manor, 413 Winecoff School Road, Concord, NC 28027-4175. Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord is serving the family.
