Daniel Lee Tarlton

February 4, 1981 — August 9, 2025

Daniel Lee Tarlton, 44 of Concord passed away peacefully Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Tucker Hospice House after a year long courageous battle with cancer.

He was born February 4, 1981 in Concord, North Carolina to James Ernest Tarlton and Nancy Lee Whittaker. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Boyd L. Tarlton, Margaret Tarlton, Constance V. Kidd and Hughel I. Kidd.

Daniel attended South Rowan High School. After school he had a passion for remodeling homes and working on all models of cars and trucks. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed anything outdoors and he loved listening to all types of music. For the past five years he was the IM manager at Westshore Homes for windows and doors.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 pm, Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Hartsell, 460 Branchview Drive SE.,Concord NC 28027. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, officiated by Dakota Stephens.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Brooke Stephens Tarlton, his 2 children; Ava Leigh Tarlton and Caleb Daniel Tarlton; his 2 step-sons; Dakota (Holly, Hank and Teddy), Wesley (Taylor) , step-daughters; Kendall and Mallory Stephens; stepfather and mother, Kenny and Nancy Whittaker and Father and Stepmother, Ernest and Mary Tarlton; brother, Branden (Crystal, Addison and Peyton) Tarlton; step-sisters; Rebecca Burgess and Deanna Whittaker; his in-laws; April Hyde and Donnie Seagraves. A very special brother-in-law; Barry Seagraves. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that he loved dearly.
