Cynthia Mae Pressley Ramsey, 58 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Cindy was born August 29, 1956 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late John Henry Pressley and the late Nannie Martealie Pressley.
Cindy graduated from the Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte in 2004. After graduation she worked at Carolinas Medical Center - University as a Registered Nurse. Most recently Cindy was employed at Southern Health Partners - Stanly County Jail as a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator. Cindy had become disabled which forced her into retirement in 2010. She enjoyed painting and riding horses as a young girl.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, January 2, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 3rd at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, Highway 73, Concord, NC.
Survivors include her husband, Alan Yates Ramsey of Concord, NC; her son Christopher Ramsey of Thomasville, NC; three sisters Rachael Tucker, Anita Morgan and Dorothy Kelley; four brothers Bill Pressley, John Pressley, Bobby Pressley and Michael Pressley; as well as several nieces and nephews.
