Cynthia (Cindy) Harris Isenhour

Cynthia (Cindy) Harris Isenhour, 73, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026.

She was born May 26, 1952 in Concord, NC, to the late Lewis Nash Harris and Mary Laura Rice Harris.  Cynthia is survived by her three children, Penny Isenhour (Brett Mullin), Jerry Isenhour (Amanda Lyerly Isenhour) and Shawn Isenhour (Rick Ashley). She is survived by her younger brother Wayne Gray. She was also the proud grandmother to seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her other siblings, Pam McDaniel, Mike Harris, and Tommy Harris.

Cindy will be remembered for her laughter, her personality, and the love she gave so freely. She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. Cindy knew just the right thing to say to make everyday conversations more memorable. Her family and friends will miss her dearly but they will carry her memory with them always - especially in the jokes, stories, and memories that still make them smile and laugh. More than anything, she loved her family, pets, and being near the ocean. 

Cynthia's Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Hartsell Funeral Home.  The Isenhour family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
