Cora Mae Peeler, 88 years of age, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
Cora Mae was born October 28, 1927 in Salisbury to the late Silas Frank and Cora Belle Bringle Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Wade and Frank Rogers; her sister, Vivian Stafford Ritchie.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday December 18, 2015 at Advent Lutheran Church in Charlotte, officiated by Rev. Ward Misenheimer. The family will receive friends immediately following in the Orinson Fellowship Hall from 12:00 pm until 1:30pm.
Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Leo Brown Peeler; her daughters, Linda (Terry) Austin of Concord, Donnell (Samuel Chip) Horton of Harrisburg, Lisa (A. J.) Ratledge Wright of Charlotte; her granchildren, Brad (Jennifer) Austin, Emily (Cory) Phillips, Jared (Shannon) Horton, Seth Horton, Jonathan Ratledge, Logan Ratledge, and Madison Rutledge; seven great grandchildren.
After retirement Cora Mae worked at St. Andrews Living Center as their on staff Beautician. She was an active member of Adventurer's Group of Advent Lutheran Church. Cora Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
