Connie M. Ford

Connie M. Ford, 67, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at her residence in Concord.

Mrs. Ford was born on March 16, 1959, in Concord, NC to the late Billy Wayne McCrary and the late Elizabeth Diane McCrary. She was also preceded in death by her sister Lisa D. Grass.

Connie’s greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished her husband, Kenneth “Doodle” Ford, with whom she shared 48 years of love, partnership, and devotion. Connie adored her son, Patrick, and took immense pride in watching him, and later her grandsons, Grant, Julien, and Luke play sports. She also cherished the close relationship she shared with her daughter-in-law, Denise. She loved every moment spent together as a family. Above all, Connie found her deepest happiness simply being by Doodle’s side.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The graveside service will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy 29N at I-85, Exit 58, Concord, NC in Concord. The service will be officiated by Rev. Kevin Ford.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Dean Ford of Concord, NC; her son, Patrick Wayne Ford, and his wife, Denise I. Ford, of Concord, NC; and her grandsons, Grant, Julien, and Luke Ford.
