Clifford Cole
July 14, 1926 — January 23, 2017
Clifford Ogden Cole, 90 years of age, of Concord NC, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at Universal Healthcare in Concord.
Clifford was born July 14, 1926 in West Virginia to the late Floyd Cole and Wetha Spencer Cole. v
He was also preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy Emory Cole; son, Jonathon David Cole; seven brothers; three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord officiated by Rev. Tom Sanquist . Burial will follow at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Wednesday Morning at 9 AM.
Survivors include wife, Rosemary Cole; daughter, Gloria and husband Bill Bartlett of Concor; three grandchildren, Angela Clouse and husband Lonnie of Harrisburg, Derek Bartlett and wife Becky of Harrisburg, Brandon Bartlett and wife Katie of Nixa, MO; great-grandchildren, Alonna, Drew, Layton, Abby, Brody, Brooke, Allie, Asher, Lilly, Layla and William (who will arrive in April)
Clifford served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for the Norfolk-Southern Railroad and retired from Christian Ministry.
