Cheryl Louise Jackson, 68, of Locust, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.
Cheryl was born February 12, 1958 in Mecklenburg County to the late William Roy Jackson and the late Charlotte Davis Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brother Greg McKoy.
Cheryl enjoying traveling to the beach when health permitted. She loved going to Hockey games in Greensboro and watching wrestling. Cheryl had a love for all animals.
The funeral service will be on Monday, October 5, 2026, 4:00 pm at Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Locust officiated by Rev. Larry Manor. Burial will follow at the Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 406 Renee Ford Road, Locust.
Survivors include significant other, Jimmy Martin of Locust, NC and long time friend Heather Parker and her family.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Jackson family.
