Chandler Marsh Williams, 25, of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Chandler grew up in the Fairview Community of Union County and attended Fairview Elementary, Piedmont Middle and Piedmont High School. He graduated from the Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, FL.
Chandler believed in living life to the fullest and wide open! He was an avid lover of the outdoors. He loved to fish and he loved to be in and around the water. He was devoted to the rural life he had grown up to love. He loved and was devoted to his dogs. To Chandler, outdoors was the only place to be - with his dogs following closely behind if they could keep up. He had a great big heart capable of loving many people. When he loved you, he loved you dearly and deeply.
Chandler was a life long member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Chandler was preceded in death by his father, Tony Marsh Williams, his grandmother, Hannah Black Williams, and grandmother, Sarah Mauldin Forester.
Chandler is survived by his mother, DeeDee Forester Williams and Matthew Tittle; grandparents, Noel Marsh Williams and Sarah Rushing Williams, Judy Boyce Chapman and David P. Chapman, and James Henry Forester, all of the Monroe area.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland, NC. A celebration of Chandler's life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Lakeview Baptist Church, 4602 Concord Highway, Monroe. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Road, Monroe.
The family is requests that guest please wear casual comfortable attire as this is what Chandler preferred to wear.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union County Humane Society, 4015 Waxhaw Hwy., Monroe NC 28112.
