Carolyn Ruth Freeman, 74 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at her home.
There are no services.
Mrs. Freeman was born March 25, 1941 in Mecklenburg County, to the late James Fletcher Medlin and the late Wilma Medlin. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan Medlin.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, David Freeman.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Freeman family.
