Carol Elaine Wishon, 72, of Concord passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Atrium Cabarrus.
Carol was born on July 29, 1951, to the late Dallas E. Wishon and the late Elaine Miller Wishon. She graduated from Concord High School in 1970 and retired as a teacher assistant from Cabarrus County Schools. She also served as a Sunday School teacher at her church, St. John’s Lutheran, for many years.
Carol is survived by her brother Hal (Kim) Wishon of Concord, nephews, David (Alana) Wishon of Concord and Brett (Hannah) Wishon of Charlotte; grandniece Walker Wishon and grandnephew Brady Wishon. Also surviving is a special cousin, Joyce Hardin.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Mt. Pleasant House for their love and care for Carol over the past several years.
In accordance with her wishes, interment will be at a private family graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol's honor may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church located at 100 St. John's Church Rd., Concord, NC 28025.
