Carol Polston

Carol Ruth Page Polston, 50, of Monroe, NC, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, in Carolinas Medical Center – Main of Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Polston was born March 24, 1961, in Union County. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Page; mother, Mary Fredine Simpson Page; and sister, Jo Nell Page. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Advent Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at Shiloh Advent Christian Church of Monroe. Rev. Bill Mobley will officiate assisted by Rev. Margaret Helms. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her sister, Elaine, at 4205 East Brief Road, Monroe. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, John “Ray” Polston, and son, Aaron Joseph Polston, of the home; sister, Elaine Page Carriker, of Monroe; niece, Amanda Elkins Hartis, of Mint Hill; and nephew, Dennis W.
