Carol Boyd

Carol A. Boyd, 73, of Concord, NC, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.

Carol was born March 6, 1952, in Syracuse, New York to the late Joseph A. Boyd, Jr., and the late Edna M. Boyd.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne M. Elliott and a nephew, Wayne M. Elliott, Jr.

Carol had very few hobbies, but the one hobby she had was cross-stitching. Her pieces of work were immaculate. The biggest joy in her life was giving. She loved being able to bring a smile to someone’s face with her generosity and kindness. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, going to the mountains and spending time with family.

Survivors include her brothers, James A. Boyd (Nancy) and Robert B. Boyd (Judy), and a sister Cynthia A. Schaap (David). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carol’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
