Carl Clyde Epling

Carl Clyde Epling, 87, of Concord, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at The Landings in Kannapolis.

Carl was born February 13, 1938 in Flat Top, West Virginia to the late Carl Lafayette Epling and the late Bernice Ella Epling Maynard.

He was also preceded in death by wife of 52 years Joyce Epling, and wife of 9 years Margaret Epling.

Carl was a Navy Veteran. He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, and gardening.

The family will receive friends from 1pm-4pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Drive, Concord, NC. Burial will take place in Flat Top,WV at a later date.

Survivors include two siblings, two sons, two grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.
