Calvin Wood

Calvin L. Wood, 81, of Concord, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Calvin "Woody" was born June 16, 1941 in Kingston, New York, to the late Calvin Baker Wood and Jacqueline Bourbonniere.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Elfriede Wood.

Woody was a veteran of the United States Army.  He retired from Suburban Propane after more than 40 years of service.  Woody loved being outdoors, especially hunting.  He enjoyed being part owner of a NASCAR truck team.  He was a loving son, dad, brother, and grandpa.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Survivors include his 105 year old mother, Jacqueline Bourbonniere of Concord; son, Calvin (Hyon) Wood of Concord; son, Steven Wood of the home; granddaughter, Maria Wood of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Craig (Marie) Wood of Havelock; and sister, Laurie Bundy of Jupiter, FL.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.
