Brenda Aldridge Thomas

Brenda Kay Thomas, 73, of Stanfield NC, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, at her home.

Brenda was born on December 1, 1952, in Concord, NC, to the late Max Herbert Aldridge and the late Lorene Aldridge.

She was also preceded in death by sister, Ruby Simpson of Union County NC as well as a granddaughter, Kristan Jackson of Stanfield, NC.

The family will conduct a private celebration of life at a later date and time.

Survivors include husband David Glenn Thomas of Stanfield, NC; son, Michael (Tammy) Thomas of Summerville, SC; daughter, Susan Diana Thomas, of Stanfield, NC; sisters, Judy McDonald of Concord, NC, Patricia Simpson of Union County, NC; grandchildren, Madison Thomas, Brayden Thomas, Tyler Cannon, Alysa StumblingBear, Brittany Cannon, Abigail Jackson; and great-grandchild, Samuel Bailey.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the family.
