Brenda Bolick

Brenda Furr Bolick, 70 years of age, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

Brenda was born April 11, 1944 in Stanly County to the late Oscar Furr and the late Sarah Faye Honeycutt Furr. She was also preceded in death by sister Mary Long.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel on Friday, January 9, 2015. Rev. Mark Mabry will officiate. Burial will follow at Canton Baptist Church Cemetery, 24615 Endy Road, Albemarle.

Survivors include daughter, Sonda Goodman of Faith; two sons, Lane (Hope) Barnhardt of Mt. Pleasant, and Todd (Susan) Barnhardt of Faith; sister, Margaret Luther of Albemarle; seven grandchildren, Summer, Ashlynn, Ricki, Melissa, Katie, Brandon, and Hayden; and two great grandchildren.
