Billy Whitley, Jr.

Billy Lamar Whitley, 61, of Kannapolis, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at Atrium Health in Concord, after several years of declining health.

Billy was born February 17, 1961 in North Carolina to the late Billy Lamar Whitley Sr. and Rose Whitley.  He enjoyed swimming, fishing, riding motorcycles and his job as a long distance truck driver.

Burial will take place at 2pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury.

Survivors include mother, Rose Whitley, five children, six grandchildren and sisters; Angela Broadway,and Tanya Burril.

Memorials may be made to The American Lung Association.
