Billy Joe Tucker, 73 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Tucker was born April 7, 1942 in Carbarrus County to the late Ted Tucker and the late Mary Hopkins Tucker. He was also preceded in death by his wife Esther Coley Tucker and a sister Peggy Kimrey.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A memorial service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Chapel at 3:00 PM officiated by Pastor Buster Green and Rev Ron Huneycutt .
Survivors include sons, Michael Tucker of Oakboro and Mark Tucker of Rock Hill, SC, brother, Tony Tucker of Norwood, and a sister, Sandra Efird of Aquadale, .
