Beulah Mae Moose

Beulah Mae Moose, 97, of Concord, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 at Spring Arbor of Albemarle.

Beulah was born December 14, 1927 in Whitmire, South Carolina to the late Richard Lee Brown and the late Cora Brown.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carl Thomas Moose, Sr., sisters, Lillian Brown, Verna Estelle Pennell, and Florence Schnepp, brothers, Elwood Odell Brown, Wintford Frank Brown, and Charles William Brown.

Beulah made an impact on all of those around her, due to her love of volunteering. She spent countless hours as a volunteer at Atrium Cabarrus, Cabarrus County Schools Superintendent's Office, and the Concord Senior Center. With volunteering came relationships, and she was the type of woman who never met a stranger.

The family will receive friends from 6-9pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The graveside service will be on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 1pm at Oakwood Cemetery located at 471 N. Church St., Concord, North Carolina.officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson.

Survivors include her children, Linda Mickle, Carl Thomas Moose, Jr., Douglas Moose and his wife Delores, and David Moose; grandchildren, Matthew Mickle, and his wife Meaghan, Greta Moose, Zara Moose, and David Nicholas Moose, great grandchildren, Eloise Mickle, and Finnegan Mickle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Beulah's name to Atrium Health Hospice and Palliative Care Cabarrus.
