Betty Propst

Betty Jean Dedmon Propst, 81 of Concord, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the home of her daughter. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 6 until 8 PM. The funeral service will be held at McGill Baptist Church 5300 Poplar Tent Road Concord on Wednesday, October 10th at 11:30 AM, with Dr. Steve Ayers officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Betty was born on September 19, 1931 in Lincolnton, to the late Luther and Hattie Mae Baxter Dedmon. Betty suffered through a long illness of 30 years. Betty is survived by her husband Charles Walter Propst of the home; daughter, Kelly Propst Doherty and husband Matt of Mooresville; sons, Charles Walter Propst, Jr. and wife Gwyn of Concord and Jimmy Dale and wife Lisa of Gastonia; grandchildren, Tucker and Hattie Doherty, Luther and Lara Propst, and Jason and Andy Dale.
