Betty Jo Hill, 79 years of age, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Betty was born July 8, 1936 in South Carolina, lovingly adopted by the late Roy Freeman and the late Iris Davis Freeman. She was also preceded in death by husband, Ned Hill; daughters, Henrietta Campbell Huneycutt and Doris Campbell Davis.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Independence Square Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 11, 2016, 11:00 am at Independence Square Baptist Church, Kannapolis officiated by Pastor Tim B. Jones. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery, Concord, NC.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Savage of Kannapolis; son, Ned B. Hill, Jr. of Browns Mills, NJ; grandson, Joshua S. Savage & wife Kara Dodd Savage of Mt. Pleasant.
