Betty Ruth Gaskey

Betty Ruth Gaskey, 96, of Concord, NC passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Lakeside Health & Rehab in Huntersville, NC.

Betty was born February 2, 1930 in Concord, North Carolina to the late John Max Troutman and the late Nettie Maxwell Troutman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gaskey in 2011; brother, Andy Troutman; and brother, Johnny Troutman.

Survivors include daughter, Angela Gaskey Ditillo of Iron Station, NC; daughter, Linda Gaskey of Cramerton, NC; son, Keith Gaskey of Surfside Beach, SC; grandchildren, Mack Cochran and wife Hope; Lisa Ratchford and husband Greg; and Brent Cochran; great grandchildren, Chloe Cochran, Aura Cochran, and Gabriel Ratchford and wife Sydney.

A private graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th, 2026 at 11:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, officiated by Rev. Mike Farley.
