Betty Connell

Betty Ruth Tinker Connell, 86, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at  home surrounded by family.

She was born July 23, 1933 in North Carolina to the late William J. Tinker and the late Cora Greene Tinker.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Connell, and her sister Patricia Adkins.

Betty retired as an auditor from the Federal Reserve in Charlotte, she loved traveling and doing things with her family. She graduated Lenoir High School in 1950.

Survivors include her children; Cindy Sloan, Jill Connell, and son Jennings Connell; brother, John (Lana) Tinker; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County.

Betty's wishes were not to have any services.
