Bessie Parker

Bessie Rae Parker, 97 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at her home.
Bessie was born August 9, 1918 in North Carolina to the late Custer Turner and the late Ranner Brooks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Parker, Sr. and her son, Wayne Parker.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 10 at Southside Baptist Church in Concord, officiated by Rev. Joey Morrison. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include her two sons, John Parker, Jr. of Concord and William (Jeanette) Parker of Statesville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
