Barbara Schwader

Barbara “Bobbie” Marie Podgurski Schwader, age 90 of Concord, NC passed away on September 3, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast in Concord. Ms. Schwader was born in Columbus, Nebraska on August 28, 1921. She is preceded in death by her father, John Podgurski; mother, Agnes Mostek Podgurski; and late husband, William Schwader. Bobbie graduated high school from St. Bonaventure in 1939. She attended and was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. The family will have a private family gathering in her honor. Bobbie is survived by two daughters, Janice Williamson of Concord, NC and Billie Richards of Charlotte, NC; son, Robert Schwader of Viera, FL; sister, Clara “Ki” Briggs of California; and four grandchildren.
