Ashlyn Kayla Courtney

Ashlyn Kayla Courtney, 30, of Kannapolis, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Ashlyn was born March 30, 1995, in California to Steven Wynn Courtney and the late Terrie Shawn Courtney. She was also preceded in death by grandmother, Lula Pearl Courtney.

She was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint the beauty that she saw in the world and in others.

The funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, November 21, 2025, at Rocky River Church, 887 Pitts School Road SW, Concord, North Carolina, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Britt.

Survivors include father, Steve Courtney of Kannapolis, NC, sister, Emerald Courtney, brother, Joshua Courtney and nephews, Haegan and Arwyn.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg is serving the Courtney family.
